From product files to a Chinese label in six steps

Once your product files are ready, follow these six steps to review the details, confirm classification, check compliance and approve the Chinese label.

01Prepare and upload product files
02Review the product details
03Confirm the food category
04Review access and compliance results
05Complete the Chinese label details
06Generate and approve the Chinese label
Step-by-step process

Follow the order of an import project, one step at a time

Begin with product files and finish with an approved Chinese label. Confirm each step before moving to the next.

STEP 01

Prepare and upload product files

Create one image set for one product. Upload clear front, back, side and detail packaging photos, then upload legible images of the matching specification, full ingredients, process and nutrition materials.

Before continuing

Confirm every image remains legible when enlarged and describes the same product version. Mark anything blurred, incomplete or not yet available.

Like laying out a map: a clear start prevents detours later.

STEP 02

Review the product details

Compare each extracted field with the source files: product name, origin, producer, ingredient order, net content, nutrition, storage and shelf life. If packaging, specification and supplier files conflict, obtain the supplier's confirmed final version and correct the record.

Before continuing

Resolve every missing or conflicting field highlighted on the page, then continue only when key facts match the source material.

Like calibrating a scale: one small error can grow at every later step.

STEP 03

Confirm the food category

Answer the guided questions about main ingredients, process, final form, preparation and intended sale, then compare adjacent import options. Do not classify by the sales name alone; use the product's actual composition and use.

Before continuing

Record the chosen import option and its basis. If ambiguity remains, keep it pending specialist review rather than treating the label as final.

Like choosing the right track: the category determines which rules follow.

STEP 04

Review access and compliance results

First check whether the product can continue through import assessment, then review market-access restrictions, ingredient and additive conditions, label gaps and missing evidence in priority order. Open each finding, check the affected product fact and agree any evidence or product changes with the supplier.

Before continuing

Before purchase commitment, artwork lock or shipment, close import-blocking risks and assign an owner and due point for every remaining issue.

Like an early inspection: the sooner an issue appears, the less it costs to fix.

STEP 05

Complete the Chinese label details

Using the confirmed product facts, add the China-based responsible entity and contact details, date marking, quantity, storage, directions and any category-specific warning or declaration. Ask the responsible party for unknown information instead of guessing.

Before continuing

Confirm every required field has a source and the responsible party has approved entity names, addresses, numbers, units and date expressions.

Like finishing a puzzle: one missing piece keeps the label incomplete.

STEP 06

Generate and approve the Chinese label

After generation, compare the Chinese label field by field with the final formula, specification and original artwork. Verify the name, ingredient order, quantity, nutrition, responsible entity and special declarations before handing it to design, specialist review, printing or declaration.

Before continuing

Download or save the current label result. If the formula, specification, supplier or packaging changes, review the product again and generate a new result; retain prior versions in your own project records.

Like a final check before sealing: confirm everything matches before production and shipment.
